Eligibility
International travelers visit the USA for tourism or business purposes.
A passport is valid for at least 6 months after your planned departure from the United States. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
Non-Eligibility
Not available for Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer travel document holders.
Not available to people endorsed on Parent’s/Spouse’s Passport i.e. each person should have a separate passport.
Not available for International Travel Document Holders.
Notes
The processing time is up to 3 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Public holidays.
Your USA ESTA is valid for two years from the authorization date or until your passport expires, whichever comes first, allowing multiple entries with a maximum stay of 90 days per visit. However, applications for Brunei passport holders have a maximum validity of one year. For Hungarian passport holders, the ESTA is valid for one year with a single entry.
Citizens of Canada who are traveling with a Canadian passport do not need an ESTA.

If your ESTA expires while in the U.S., it will not affect your departure.
Taiwan passport holders must provide a Personal Identification Number (PIN), and Singapore passport holders must provide a National Identification Number when applying for an ESTA.
For citizens of the United Kingdom, only passports indicating British Citizenship are eligible to be used for travel under the Visa Waiver Program. A passport indicating that the bearer is a British Subject, British Dependent Territories Citizen, British Overseas Citizen, British National (overseas) Citizen or British Protected Person does not qualify for travel without a visa.
Individuals traveling on valid visas are not required to apply for an ESTA authorization.
